Easy Crockpot Broccoli Cheddar Soup
You know what? I made some delicious and easy crockpot broccoli cheddar soup but first I have to tell you that I have really been reading a lot about nutrition again. I’ve always been passionate about it because you can feed your body the stuff to make you glow with energy or you can poison it. I want to feel good because, really, when you feel good anything is possible. So I have been a vegetarian for about a week now. But I think it’s too early to say I am an official vegetarian. You have to put some time into it to be legit so at this point I should just say I am a vegatryingian. I was a vegetarian for about 2 years about 20 years ago (But you can’t use a past experience either and say you are a vegetarian now, it doesn’t carry over after so many years, due to vegetarian statute of limitations.) and one night gave in to some chicken wings at a bar and that was that. I forged ahead on a meat lover’s diet and I never looked back, until now. I guess this started last week when I read a sort of scary article about the food industry. Now, I don’t want to get into that here because it would be very unappetizing but my point is that since last week I have been eating a ton of vegetables and have tried a lot of new vegetarian recipes.
I bought some new interesting and really healthy things like chia seeds and flax seeds and red palm oil and have been finding recipes to use them in. I also bought some raw kale chips that literally taste like the bottom of someone’s shoe but I won’t talk about that either. The point is that I have been trying to eat a lot of green vegetables and this Easy Crockpot Broccoli Cheddar Soup is a delicious way to get a lot of nutrients from broccoli.
