A few days ago, my daughter, Sensi, and I started to make Valentine’s Day cards. We tried a few different methods of stamping which I will cover in a few posts but we first started with a potato stamp card because nothing says “You are my Valentine” like a potato.
Take a potato, cut it in half. Take a cookie cutter and press it into the potato.
Take a knife and cut out the cookie cutter by going down the potato to almost where the cookie cutter ends (you have make a guess where the cookie cutter ends). Just cut into the potato until you touch the cutter and go around the whole circumference and then cut off the extra potato, remove the cookie cutter, and reveal the potato design.
Put some paint on your Valentine’s Day potato.
Paint on potato.
Potato on paper.
Using rubber alphabet stamps to stamp on a word.
Potato love! Happy Valentine’s Day!
