Stitched Up Valentine’s Day Cards. These cards are easy to make and turn out so pretty.
By the way,I sincerely made these cards with the message, “You Are Mine”, thinking it sounded good but now I realize it sounds a little “intense” so I am secretly calling these cards “Stalker Stitched Valentines Day Cards”. Jeez, maybe I should have just put ” I Am Coming For You”. Okay, now that we have addressed the awkward message…..I will show you how to make these.
First you can print this heart template here. Put the heart on piece of scrapbook paper and trace it twice:
Now we have two hearts, one for the back, one for the front:
Punch holes all around the edges of the hearts while holding both of the cut-out hearts together:
Cut a piece of ribbon:
“Stitch” the ribbon through the heart holes and tie a bow:
You can fill the hearts with things like little messages and/or candy. I bought some sticker labels:
I stuck the sticker labels on a piece of scrapbook paper and then used this fancy scissors to make a pretty little card which you can see below this picture:
Then I stamped my stalker message on to the cut out tags:
I have a small hole punch that I used to punch holes in the stalker message:
Then I thread the tags with embroidery thread, cut the thread and tied knots at both ends. By the way, do you know a good way to get thread or yarn through a hole that seems too small? Put some glue on it and roll it into a point with your fingers. Let it sit for a minute and it will go right through.
Here’s the stalker message:
Open the card up and put candy and message inside:

And my daughter, getting tired of posing with them!
Happy Valentines Day to you!!! xxoo
